About the night:We start with a great class for all, no partner or experience needed! Night follows with the best live music along with DJ set during the break playing Bachata, Salsa, Cumbia, and more! Let’s enjoy the evening sky! Great food available till 10pm. Great food and aguas available at Veracruz All Natural and The Doughminican. Event is family friendly! All ages welcome! Come with your friends or to make new ones. About the band: Austin Latin All Stars is an 8-piece salsa band from Austin, TX. The band formed in 2018 from a collection of  Latin music lovers who. They met in the Austin music scene. A common element and what all just couldn’t get enough is the dynamism of the Salsa music scene and the performance of the finest exponents of the genre, of all time, people like: Oscar de Leon, Celia Cruz, Hector Lavoe, Johnny Pacheco, Willie Colon, etc.
Their unique brand of entertainment fuses an 80s Salsa harmonic ensemble with the piano and bass up front, defining the melodies, the Latin percussion grooving the rhythm. In contrast, the melodies start after each song introduction. Usually set up by the horns. Right about halfway through, the song goes to the call-response section, with tight performance and engaging melodies that will make you want to dance.
All of its members are highly enthusiastic, active musicians in the Austin metro area. The members are Luis Angel Ibanez, vocalist and band director, Isaac Pena, trumpet and chorus vocalist, Lucas Quintana, piano and chorus vocalist, Juan Ramon Sarria, percussion, Leonardo Vazquez, Conga, Dilan Jones, Upright Bass, Trombone, and last but not least, Flute.
